Ahead of the inaugural Marigold event, Marigold Fields Forever airing on WRESTLE UNIVERSE on the 20th May, President Rossy Ogawa did an interview with Tokyo Sports where he announced the names of the four new championships his roster will be fighting for, releasing the first ever images of two of them.
According to Ogawa, the top two singles championships will be called the Marigold World Championship and the United National Championship. Carrying the same distinctive white and red straps as the World of Stardom and Wonder of Stardom Championships, this is another nod of tribute to the inspiration of All Japan Women’s Pro-Wrestling.

Aswell as this, Rossy went further in discussing the inspiration behind the United National (UN) Championship – the white belt. According to Ogawa, this is a homage to the old NWA United National Championship which has seen such illustrious champions as Antonio Inoki and Stan Hansen.
After releasing the first images of these two belts, Ogawa went on to reveal the names of a further two championships that will be available in Marigold; The Marigold Twinstar Championships and the Marigold Super Flyweight Championship. The Twinstar belts will act as the promotions tag team championships, and are another homage to joshi history. This time, to Rossy’s former-company ARSION, whose tag belts were called the Twinstar of ARSION Championships. The Super Flyweight belt will be the only title in the company to feature a weight limit, with only wrestlers weighing 55kg and below able to challenge.
