NEWS: Stardom Announce Awards for 5Star Grand Prix Ahead of Korakuen Hall

Stardom have announced the winners of their annual 5Star Grand Prix awards ahead of the presentation on September 8th in Korakuen Hall.

The tournament finished on August 31st with Maika, in her second consecutive final, defeating Saya Kamitani ahead of challenging Tam Nakano for the Red Belt on September 14th in Osaka.

This year, awards have been given for the Best Skill, Fighting Spirit, Special Achievement and then to the best match for each of the four blocks.

The awards are as follows;

• Skill Award: Starlight Kid
• Fighting Spirit Award: AZM
• Special Achievement Award: Hanan
• Best Match Red Stars A: Maika vs. Hazuki
• Best Match Red Stars B: Mayu Iwatani vs. Momo Watanabe
• Best Match Blue Stars A: Saori Anou vs. Starlight Kid
• Best Match Blue Stars B: Suzu Suzuki vs. Thekla

As mentioned, the awards will be presented at Stardom’s September 8th show at Korakuen Hall by New Japan President Hiroshi Tanahashi.
