New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s lead announcer Walker Stewart has confirmed via his Twitter account that he will be the voice of Stardom English commentary beginning with the Nagoya PPV on 5th October.

Speaking on Twitter following the Namba Grand Fight PPV on Saturday, Walker announced that for select PPVs for the rest of the year he will lead the English commentary desk, with confirmation already in place for Nagoya, for Historic X-Over in November and for Dream Queendom at the end of the year.

Adding more information, Walker then added that though this is only for select PPVs at the moment, metrics will be tracked, and the more fan engagement and legitimate PPV buys will result ultimately in more English coverage.

This will make Nagoya Golden Fight 2024 the first Stardom show to feature English commentary since the All-Star Grand Queendom show in April where commentary duties were undertaken by Chris Charlton and Sonny Gutierrez.
