The second instalment of the cross-promotional Historic X-Over series between Stardom and New Japan Pro-Wrestling is less than a month away, due to take place on the 17th November at EDION Arena Osaka.

With the date rapidly approaching, a press conference took place on Tuesday 29th October to sign the contract for Mayu Iwatani and Momo Watanabe’s IWGP Women’s Championship match, but to also announce two more matches for the card.

Also made official for the card is an 8-person inter-gender tag team match that once again see alliances form between H.A.T.E and the Bullet Club, this time with Saya Kamitani and Natsuko Tora teaming with Drilla Maloney and NJPW Strong Openweight Champion Gabe Kidd. They will face off with Hiroshi Tanahashi, Ryusuke Taguchi and the Winggori team of Hanan and Saya Iida.

We also had an answer in regard to The Great O-Khan’s open challenge for the KOPW Championship, with Suzu Suzuki stepping up to the plate. Though initially sceptical about making the match ‘Hardcore Rules’, the champion relented after Suzu listed her hardcore resume before stating that she would win and take his beard and his hair when that happens.

Already announced for November’s Historic X-Over event is Zack Sabre Jr teaming with Maika against the team of Starlight Kid and El Desperado, and the team of Natsupoi and Taichi taking on Clark Connors and Thekla. Mayu Iwatani will also make the eighth defence of her IWGP Women’s Championship against Momo Watanabe.

The event will air live on NJPW World for subscribers.
