BITE-SIZE SHOW REPORT: Stardom Goddesses of Stardom Tag League 2024 – Night 12 (Saturday, 23rd November 2024)

Notes

• Ami Sohrei will be absent from all cards as she begins the process of recovering from ACL and meniscus tears in her knee.
• Kaori Yoneyama – more commonly known as Fukigen Death in Stardom – has also suffered an ACL tear and will be out of action for a year.
• Xena has suffered a ligament injury in her knee, and will be out of action for an undisclosed period of time.
• Currently Eliminated from the Tournament: Team Classroom (Lady C & Hina), Inaba & Yagami (Tomoka Inaba & Ranna Yagami)
• Attendance Notes: The announced attendance for the show in Aztec Museum Sendai Industry Exhibition Hall was 297. This is the third time Stardom have run the venue, with this being the lowest house they have drawn (just under 31.5% decrease from the last time they ran the venue in September 2023 which drew 433 for night 20 of the 5Star Grand Prix.) It’s also the lowest attendance for the 2024 Goddesses of Stardom Tag League so far.

Show Notes

• Following her submission victory over Hanan, Starlight Kid took to the microphone to reiterate the fact that she has now beaten Hanan and Hazuki – both people gunning for the Wonder of Stardom Championship – and that she has big plans for Ryogoku on December 29th revolving around the Wonder of Stardom Championship.
• Rina and Azusa Inaba attacked Thekla’s arm, and only cheated towards the end of the match when the referee was distracted, wiping Momo out with a crate-shot to the head. Following this, Rina took to the microphone saying that she had learned from other H.A.T.E matches how to win and said how she and Inaba plan to win the tournament and challenge for the Goddesses of Stardom Championships.
• After her surprise pinfall victory over Saki Kashima, Sayaka Kurura took to the microphone to express her elation at finally picking up a victory. Tam showered her with lot off affection which seemed to completely take the rookie by surprise, perhaps as a result of Saya Kamitani planting seeds in Tam’s mind about taking everything she holds dear; the more you grip, the more it slips away…
