Show Notes
- Prior to the show beginning, an in-ring ceremony provided us with the fact that rookies Ryoko Sakimura and Nagisa Tachibana will both make their respective debuts on Marigold’s Korakuen Hall show on the 26th December; Tachibana will face Kizuna Tanaka while Sakimura will face Nanae Takahashi.
- Despite being removed from the card due to a back injury, Kizuna Tanaka still made an appearance to open the show, advertising Marigold’s ‘Shop in Shop’ which will be opening on the 27th December and running through until the middle of January, including special interactions with Marigold talent.
- Following Natsumi Showzuki’s fourth successful title defence against Myla Grace, Showzuki then called out Victoria Yuzuki to make official their title match for Marigold First Dream 2025 on January 3rd in Ota-Ward City Gymnasium.
- With the referee distracted and Bozilla’s constant interference at ringside, Nozaki hit Mai Sakurai over the head with a chair before hitting the Noir Lancer, ultimately giving her and CHIAKI the win. The victory for the Dark Wolf Army to claim the Twinstar Championships is historic as it marks the first ever title change in Marigold history.
- After attempting to continue the beatdown of Sakurai with Bozilla holding her in place, Nozaki swung the chair but accidentally connected with Bozilla when Mai managed to move at the last second. This prompted Bozilla to both furiously reject that she had ever been a part of the Dark Wolf Army, and levy a challenge for the new champions with a mystery partner.
- After submitting to the Sleeper Hold from Sareee, and with the champion making good on her promise to defeat her without the use of the Urunage, Nanae Takahashi took to the microphone to announce that she would be retiring from professional wrestling on the 20th May 2025 – Marigold’s First Anniversary show. Nanae’s career has spanned 28 years and over 2000 matches, with her debut match coming in 1996 against Saya Endo. Since then she has claimed titles, accolades and tournament victories in multiple promotions, including a record-setting 602-day reign as the inaugural World of Stardom Champion, being the final person to hold AJW’s WWWA Championship and helping to build Stardom, Marigold and SEAdLNNNG.
