BITE-SIZE SHOW REPORT: Marigold Winter Wonderful 2024 – Night 5 (Sunday, 8th December 2024)

Pre-Show Notes

• As announced at Korakuen Hall on the 24th October, Chika Goto will be absent from Marigold shows for a month as she recovers from a sternum injury. It has now been announced that her return match will take place on the 13th December in Shinjuku FACE.
• Nanae Takahashi continues to be absent due to an injury sustained whilst taking a Urunage from Sareee in Hokkaido on the 2nd November. However, recent footage does show her to be without her neck brace and moving significantly better.
• Kizuna Tanaka continues to wrestle in a back brace, though she is still currently advertised for Margiold’s upcoming shows.
• Attendance Notes: The show marks the first time Marigold have run the Taharu City General Gymnasium. However, the overall attendance was not announced, making it the second show of the Winter Wonderful Fight tour so far to have an unannounced attendance – the first being night 2 in Utsunomiya.

Show Notes

• During her match with Natsumi Showzuki, Kizuna Tanaka was clearly in increasing discomfort with her back, in spite of the back brace she has been wearing since the start of the tour. After trying and failing to execute a Bodyslam, Tanaka communicated something to the referee, with the finish coming almost immediately afterwards. Tanaka was then helped from the ring.
