NEWS: Athena Announces Her Participation at Stardom New Year Dream 2025

Fresh off of achieving her 25th defence of the Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship against Billie Starkz at Final Battle on the 20th December, Athena has declared that her ‘world tour’ is coming to Stardom on January 3rd.

Currently standing as the longest-reigning Ring of Honor champion of all time at a staggering 745 days, Athena made an appearance at Stardom’s Year-End X’mas Night show in Korakuen Hall via a pre-recorded message.

She announced that the ‘world tour’ will see her compete in Stardom for the very first time on January 3rd for New Year Dream, where she will team with Thekla against a team yet to be announced.

Athena will also be competing at the Tokyo Dome on January 5th at Wrestle Dynasty in the International Women’s Cup four-way match as the Ring of Honor representative, where she will face AEW’s Willow Nightingale, CMLL’s Persephone and Stardom’s Momo Watanabe for a title opportunity of their choosing.

Stardom’s New Year Dream 2025 will air via PPV on January 3rd, with streaming information to be announced in the near future.
