Marigold have announced that Seri Yamaoka – one half of the current Marigold Twinstar Champions alongside Nanae Takahashi – will be missing indefinitely after being examined at hospital, and being found to be suffering with mild concussion symptoms.

This comes following only her second ever singles match, against Rea Seto in the 176BOX in Osaka, a match she won with the Aoki Clutch in just over 8 minutes.

Yamaoka unfortunately joins a growing list of injuries for Marigold, one that already includes Naho Yamada, Kizuna Tanaka, Nagisa Tachibana, Hummingbird, Komomo Minami and Kouki Amarei.

We at the Marigold Standard wish Seri Yamaoka all of the best, and hope she returns to in-ring action as soon as possible
