BITE-SIZE SHOW REPORT: Marigold Burning Desire 2025 – Night 3 (Wednesday, 5th June 2025) – Talk Joshi | The Home of The Stardom Cast & The Marigold Standard!

3rd Marigold Superfly Champion Mayu Iwatani has been champion for 12 days – in her first reign. This will be the first title defence of her reign.
This will be the fourth time that Misa Matsui has challenged for the Superfly Championship, having lost in the inaugural championship tournament final to Natsumi Showzuki, and then losing to Showzuki and Yuzuki in the months following.
This will be the first-ever singles match between Iwatani and Misa.
Naho Yamada will miss an undisclosed period of time through a knee injury she sustained in Shinjuku FACE on the 7th February. She has since confirmed that she has ruptured the ACL and lateral ligament in her right knee and will undergo surgery to repair the damage.
Natsumi Showzuki and Nao Ishikawa were both announced to be missing the next set of shows due to poor-health.
Nagisa Nozaki will return on this show after being absent after taking part on the SEAdLINNNG Shin-Kiba Series 2025 Vol. 3 card in Shin-Kiba 1st RING over the weekend of the 30th and 31st May.

Attendance Notes: The announced attendance inside Shinjuku FACE in Tokyo was 412. This is the sixth time the company has run the venue and is the third-highest house they have achieved. Though it is an 18.09% decrease on the previous time they ran the venue, it is worth pointing out that this was for Nanae Takahashi’s produce show weeks before she retired, with the show being announced as a sell-out.

The days seem numbered for Megaton who, after losing again, was informed in no uncertain terms by Nagisa Nozaki that if she was to lose again, she will be ejected from the Darkness Revolution.
Following their victory in the semi-main event, Chanyota and Mai Sakurai announced that they wished to be the new challengers to Magenta’s Twinstar Championships.
Once she had defeated Misa Matsui, Mayu Iwatani began her address of the Shinjuku crowd by praising the challenger. She then alluded to wanting to be a part of the Marigold vs. Marvelous feud, before making very pointed allusions to Takumi Iroha.
