Pre-Show Notes
- 5th Marigold Twinstar Champions Magenta (Maria (1) and Riko Kawahata (1)) have been champion for 38 days – in their first reign. This will be the first title defence of their reign.
- Mai Sakurai is a former Twinstar champion, part of the inaugural champions alongside MIRAI, and this will be the first time she has challenged for them again since losing them in December 2024. This will also be the first time Chanyota will have challenged for the Twinstar titles.
- The current feud between Marigold and Marvelous sits at 4-2 in the latter’s favour after Takumi Iroha dethroned Kouki Amarei as GHC Women’s Champion at NOAH’s Monday Magic show on June 2nd.
- Natsumi Showzuki will return from injury on this show, having missed all shows since the 24th May due to an ongoing shoulder injury.
- Nao Ishikawa will remain absent from upcoming shows due to poor-health. No timetable has yet been set for her return.
- Nagisa Nozaki will be absent from this show due to taking part in the SEAdLINNNG Early Summer Games 2025 in Shinjuku FACE on the same day.
- Attendance Notes: The announced attendance inside Korakuen Hall in Tokyo was 912. Though a 24.63% decrease on the last Marigold Korakuen Hall show (1,210 on the 4th May), it is worth pointing out that this was Mayu Iwatani’s Marigold debut. The attendance of 912 is the company’s fourth-highest attendance at the venue, and ups the Marigold average attendance at Korakuen Hall to 907.

Show Notes
- The first names were officially confirmed for the 2025 Dream Star Grand Prix due to start on August 2nd. The names are as follows; Mayu Iwatani, Utami Hayashishita, Mai Sakurai, MIRAI, Miku Aono, Kouki Amarei, Victoria Yuzuki, Seri Yamaoka, Natsumi Showzuki, Chika Goto, Kizuna Tanaka, Nagisa Nozaki, CHIAKI, Misa Matsui, Chanyota. Of the currently announced field, three are set to make their tournament debuts in Mayu Iwatani, Chanyota and Seri Yamaoka, while Marigold have announced that there is one more space to be filled.
- After Riko Kawahata pinned Mai Sakurai to ensure Magenta retained their Twinstar championships in their first defence, Sakurai put up her United National Championship and asked for Riko to challenge her at Marigold’s next Korakuen Hall show on July 16th.
- Following the main event, Utami Hayashishita challenged Takumi Iroha for a double title match at the 16th July Korakuen Hall show for both the Marigold World Championship and GHC Women’s Championship.
- Mayu Iwatani also made it very clear that she had her eyes firmly focused on Iroha’s GHC Women’s Championship.
- Senka Akatsuki made a plea to be the final entrant into the Dream Star Grand Prix. This drew the ire of the rest of the Marigold roster, who came into the ring to plead their own cases – especially Rea Seto. Nao Ishikawa has since made the suggestion that a gauntlet match should be utilised to see who should be the final entrant into the tournament.
- Following the two Marvelous and Marigold matches on this show, the rivalry now stands at 5-3 in Marvelous’s favour.
