BITE-SIZE SHOW REPORT: Marigold Rising Spirit 2025 – Night 3 (Sunday, 27th April 2025)

Pre-Show Notes

• This match marks Jungle Kyona’s first match in wrestling since the 14th April 2023 at NOMAD’s Freelance Summit Vol. 3 – a match that also included Nanae Takahashi. Since then knee injuries have kept her from the ring, with it looking like that match would be the last of her career.
• It will also be the first time since the 4th October 2020 that she has competed in front of her hometown crowd of Nagoya!
• The exhibition bout between Jungle and Nanae will be Jungle’s first singles match since the 12th December 2022, where she lost a DPW Women’s World Title #1 Contendership match to Emi Sakura.
• Kouki Amarei will be missing from all shows due to a torn ACL. Her tentative return date is May 2025.
• Naho Yamada will miss an undisclosed period of time through a knee injury she sustained in Shinjuku FACE on the 7th February. She has since confirmed that she has ruptured the ACL and lateral ligament in her right knee and will undergo surgery to repair the damage.

• Attendance Notes: The attendance inside Chunichi Hall in Aichi has not yet been made public. This is the fourth time Marigold have run the venue, with their current highest attendance sitting at 315 (2nd February with Victoria Yuzuki vs. Misa Matsui for the Superfly Title in the main event) and their average being 296 – though again, this will change if the attendance for this show is released.
