BITE-SIZE SHOW REPORT: Marigold Spring Victory Series 2025 – Night 10 (Saturday, 12th April 2025)

Pre-Show Notes

  • 2nd Marigold Superfly Champion Victoria Yuzuki has been champion for 99 days – in her first reign. This will be the third title defence of her reign.
  • The current singles record between Victoria Yuzuki and Rea Seto sits at 1-0 in Yuzuki’s favour, having beaten Seto on the 1st March 2025 in Gunma.
  • This will be Rea Seto’s first challenge for any championship in her short career.
  • This show marks the last Japanese date for Bozilla who, Marigold announced through their social media channels, would need to cut her run short to deal with a family illness in her native Germany.
  • Komomo Minami will be missing shows for the foreseeable future after injuring the medial collateral ligament and the meniscus in her knee during a tag team match at the Korakuen Hall show on the 26th December. A timetable for her return has not yet been confirmed. 
  • Kouki Amarei will be missing from all shows due to a torn ACL. Her tentative return date is May 2025.
  • Naho Yamada will miss an undisclosed period of time through a knee injury she sustained in Shinjuku FACE on the 7th February. She has since confirmed that she has ruptured the ACL and lateral ligament in her right knee and will undergo surgery to repair the damage.
  • Attendance Notes: The announced attendance inside Shin-Kiba 1st RING in Tokyo was 272. This is the eleventh time Marigold have run the venue and currently average 264 people. 272 people is an 11.02% increase on their previous attendance at the venue (245 on the 26th January 2025). This is also the highest attendance Marigold have pulled to the venue since the third night of the Dream Star Grand Prix 2025 on the 14th September 2024 (284).

Show Notes

  • Ryoko Sakimura’s subsmission victory over Riara marks her first ever pinfall/submission victory.
  • Following the main event, Miku Aono thanked Bozilla and said that she wouldn’t be who she is today without her.
  • Upon leaving Japan, Bozilla has had 76 matches with a record of 51 wins, 20 losses and 5 draws. This means, at the time of her departure, she has the second most victories in company history behind Mai Sakurai (52).
