Rules: The New Year Unit League sees a return to a round robin format, with two blocks of three teams. Each match is a 6-woman tag team format, with a 30-minute time limit and the team with best of three falls being declared the victor. The competitors from each unit that will be taking part in each fall will be announced before the match with a different combination of wrestlers needed for each of the falls. In terms of a points tally, points are given per fall rather than per match, with a maximum of 5 points per match available per team (2 points for a win, 1 for a draw via double countout or double KO, and 0 for a loss). The two top teams following all block matches will then face each other in the final. Should there be a tie at the top of the blocks, then it will go down to head to head results with the team garnering the most points in the match progressing to the final.
RED BLOCK: STARS, God’s Eye and Empress neXus Venus
BLUE BLOCK: Cosmic Angels, H.A.T.E & NEO-GENESIS
Ami Sohrei will be absent from all cards as she begins the process of recovering from ACL and meniscus tears in her knee. She will however be seconding God’s Eye to all of their New Year Unit League matches.
Xena has suffered a ligament injury in her knee, and will be out of action for an undisclosed period of time.
Hanan will be absent from this show due to wrestling in World Women Pro-Wrestling Diana against Nanami.
Attendance Notes: The announced attendance for the show inside EDION Arena Osaka #2 was 555, not only a 9.7% increase on the previous day in the same venue (506), but this also makes this the largest attendance Stardom have drawn to the EDION Arena Osaka #2 since June 2023 – 15 shows ago – when they drew their second-highest ever attendance at the venue (648).

Other Show Notes
Mayu Iwatani managed to pin both Matoi Hamabe and Mei Seira to win the opening three-way match.
Following her pin on Saori Anou, Rina promised to defeat her before she went after Starlight Kid and the Wonder of Stardom Championship, with Saori Anou seemingly accepting a singles match.
During the final fall of the H.A.T.E and Cosmic Angels match, Sayaka Kurura accidentally Speared Tam Nakano when Saya Kamitani moved. This left Tam open to the Spinning Star Crusher which led to the pivotal final fall.
Wins for EXV and H.A.T.E meant that God’s Eye, STARS and Cosmic Angels were eliminated from the tournament. This leaves NEO-GENESIS topping Blue Block with 7 points, and EXV topping Red Block 8 points to face each other in January 23rd’s final at Shin-Kiba 1st RING.
