BITE-SIZE SHOW REPORT: Stardom Goddesses of Stardom Tag League 2024 – Night 13 (Sunday, 24th November 2024)

Notes

• Ami Sohrei will be absent from all cards as she begins the process of recovering from ACL and meniscus tears in her knee.
• Kaori Yoneyama – more commonly known as Fukigen Death in Stardom – has also suffered an ACL tear and will be out of action for a year.
• Xena has suffered a ligament injury in her knee, and will be out of action for an undisclosed period of time.
• Fukuoka Double Crazy can win the Red Goddess Block if Cup High Mate lose to PsyQueen.
• Currently Eliminated from the Tournament: Team Classroom (Lady C & Hina), Inaba & Yagami (Tomoka Inaba & Ranna Yagami)
• Attendance Notes: The announced attendance for the show in Big Palette Fukushima was 469, a 10.3% decrease from the last time Stardom ran the venue (almost a year ago to the day on the 26th November 2023 where the company drew 523). Though not the lowest house they have drawn to the venue, it is the second smallest, and is below their average house of 522. The house also falls below the tournament average of 545.

Show Notes

• In a nice surprise, Fukushima native Ami Sourei opened the show to welcome the crowd, explaining that last time Stardom ran the prefecture, she couldn’t walk to the ring. She can now, though she did add that it would still be a while before she would be able to return to the ring.
• As a result of their defeat against Winggori, and Mad Tiger Girl managing to defeat Sakuradamon, Reckless Fantasy have been eliminated from the tournament.
• Following their defeat to Team Classroom, DEVIL/PRINCESS have now been eliminated from the tournament.
• Despite Mayu Iwatani’s rather comical misunderstanding in believing that it was Momo Kohgo who won the match and not Tomoka Inaba, the loss means that Peach Rock are eliminated from the tournament.
• Keeping their tournament hopes alive with a victory over BMI2000, and securing her second pinfall victory in a row over Ruaka, Kurura took to the microphone to express her delight at winning the match, and promising that she would never lost to H.A.T.E as they are a team full of ‘bad things’.
• After winning the main event, Cup High Mate become the second team to gain a place in the play-offs from Red Block alongside FWC, with them still having a chance to qualify as block winners.
