BITE-SIZE SHOW REPORT: Stardom in Osaka 2025 May (Saturday, 24th May 2025)

Pre-Show Notes

• 34th Artist of Stardom Champions NEO-GENESIS (AZM (4), Starlight Kid (2) & Miyu Amasaki (1)) have been champions for 111 days – in their first reign. This will be the second title defence of their reign.
• This will be the only the second time ever that the Artist of Stardom Championships have been defended in a three-way, with the other being Oedo Tai defending the belts against the Donna del Mondo team of Giulia, Mai Sakurai & Maika, and the God’s Eye team of Syuri, MIRAI & Ami Sourei on the 26th June 2022.
• Hours before the show began, Stardom made an announcement through their social media channels that the show would be airing for free on YouTube.
• Ami Sohrei will be absent from all cards as she begins the process of recovering from ACL and meniscus tears in her knee.
• Xena has suffered a ligament injury in her knee, and will be out of action for an undisclosed period of time.
• Maika will be out of action for indeterminate amount of time due to an elbow injury she has been suffering from for three years.
• Matoi Hamabe will be missing missing from upcoming shows due to injury; no timetable is currently available for Matoi’s return to the ring.
• Anne Kanaya will be missing missing from upcoming shows due to an injury on her hand for which she has now undergone surgery; no timetable is currently available for Anne’s return to the ring.
• Momo Wantanabe is out of action indefinitely as she continues her recovery from a nagging ankle injury sustained at AEW Revolution on the 9th March.
• Attendance Note: The announced attendance inside EDION Arena Osaka #2 in Osaka was 604. This is the fifth highest attendance Stardom have pulled to the venue in the 54 times they have ran it, with this being only the fifth time Stardom have crossed 600 in the venue. It is a 19.13% increase on the last time Stardom ran EDION Arena Osaka #2 (507 on the 10th April 2025).
