Stardom’s Aya Sakura will be taking part in Sendai Girls’ The Top of Joshi Wrestling show in March.
Following her victory over YUNA on the 16th February show in Sendai, Sakura came to the ring and challenged Chi Chi – herself victorious in tag action action alongside Sareee – for the Sendai Girls Junior Championship. The match has since been made official for ‘The Top of Joshi Wrestling’ in Yoyogi on March 19th.
This will not be the first time Aya has challenged for the belt in 2025, coming up short against Chi Chi at Stardom’s New Year Dream show on the 3rd January.
The announced card so far for The Top of Joshi Wrestling is as follows;
- Sendai Girls World Championship Match: Meiko Satomura (c) vs. Chihiro Hashimoto
- Sendai Girls Tag Team Championships Match: Red Energy (Mika Iwata & Miyuki Takase) (c) vs. Hai High Mate (Maika & HANAKO)
- Sendai Girls Junior Championship Match: Chi Chi (c) vs. Aya Sakura
- Hardcore Match: Risa Sera vs. DASH Chisako
- Shin Sakura Hirota vs. Jaguar Yokota
