Aya Sakura will make her first defence of the Sendai Girls Junior Championship on Sendai Girls’s upcoming Sendai PIT show on June 20th.
Her opponent for the match will be YUNA, who has impressed on her last few outings in Stardom as a part of the New Blood cards. However, she has lost both of her previous singles matches against Aya, and was unsuccessful twice against previous champion Chi Chi for the belt.
Aya Sakura won the title back at The Top of Joshi Pro-Wrestling in Yoyogi in March, finally defeating Chi Chi to become the 10th champion.
The full card for the Sendai Girls in Sendai PIT card for June 20th is as follows;
- Takumi Iroha & Senka Akatsuki vs. Team 200kg (Chihiro Hashimoto & YUU)
- Sendai Girls Junior Championship Match: Aya Sakura (c) vs. YUNA
- Unagi Sayaka vs. Mika Iwata
- Ryo Mizunami, Manami & ZONES vs. DASH Chisako, Hiroyo Matsumoto & Yura Suzuki
- Miku Kanae vs. Yurika Oka
