Stardom’s High-Speed Bomb Girl AZM has arguably the biggest match of her career on the horizon when she faces Mayu Iwatani for the IWGP Women’s Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4th.

Unfortunately, Stardom have had to announce a change to the show the from the Tokyo Hachioji show on December 22nd, with AZM – who has wrestled over 100 matches for the company so far in 2024 – being pulled from the card as a ‘precaution’; the company citing poor health as the reason.

Card changes the show have already been announced, with the original three-way between AZM, Waka Tsukiyama and Aya Sakura now becoming a straight singles match between the latter pair.

On a brighter note, AZM did take her personal Twitter account in order to promise to be fully fit for the Christmas Eve Korakuen Hall show.

We at The Stardom Cast wish AZM a speedy recovery, and hope to see her in-ring again as soon as possible in the lead up to her Tokyo Dome singles match debut.

Stay tuned to The Stardom Cast for all the happenings in the world of Stardom.
