Following the culmination of the Cinderella Tournament final on March 15th, a second match has been confirmed for what is pencilled in to be Stardom’s biggest ever show.
Having taken Sareee to her limits at Sareee-ISM Chapter VII, Syuri followed this up five days later by pinning the IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani during a multi-woman match in Ota-Ward City Gymnasium. Following this, Syuri took to the microphone and declared her intent to challenge Mayu for the title, with the champion holding the belt up in acknowledgement.
Almost immediately following this, Stardom confirmed the match for the 27th April at Yokohama Arena. This will be Syuri’s second attempt at the belt whilst Mayu has held it, with the pair putting on a blistering encounter during the Ittenyon Stardom Gate show on January 4th 2024. Iwatani meanwhile will have held the belt for a staggering 720 days by the time of the Yokohama show, with this being her tenth defence of the title in the process.
Stardom All-Star Grand Queendom in Yokohama Arena will air live on PPV with English commentary on April 27th. Streaming information will be announced in the coming weeks.
