NEWS: Stardom & Marigold Representation in the 2024 PWI Women’s 250

Pro-Wrestling Illustrated have released their yearly ranking of women’s wrestlers, the PWI Women’s 250, with AEW’s Timeless Toni Storm taking the top spot.

Though the top 10 is primarily made up of women in the bigger US companies – WWE, AEW and TNA – huge congratulations must go to former-World of Stardom Champion Maika who caps off a fantastic year by finishing just outside the top three in fourth, and Marigold World Champion Sareee who has been ranked sixth overall.

It is worth noting that the evaluation period covers from the 1st October 2023 until the 30th September 2024, and takes into account in-ring achievement, influence, technical ability and competition.

Moving into the top twenty, and Mayu Iwatani – the current IWGP Women’s Champion – moves from her place in thirtieth in last year’s edition to fourteenth, with Mina Shirakawa making a huge jump from fifty-first in 2023 to an impressive fifteenth in 2024.
