Having been announced to be making her Bloodsport debut a few weeks back, former-World of Stardom Champion Maika has now had her opponent confirmed by Josh Barnett on Twitter.
That opponent is WWE’s Karmen Petrovic, someone who made her own Bloodsport debut at Bloodsport XII in New Jersey with an emphatic early TKO on Sumie Sakai. A decorated Karate competitor, Petrovic has won gold medals in the Fonseca Cup competition, the Ontario Provincial competition and the Ontario Summer Olympic Games whilst representing the Ontario Provincial and Canada National Karate teams.
Maika of course is an accomplished Judoka, meaning that the match itself will be an interesting battle between the disciplines of Judo and Karate.
This match joins the likes of Charlie Dempsey vs. Shinya Aoki, Leyla Hirsch vs. Jordan Blade, Pete Dunne vs. Timothy Thatcher and Nattie Neidhart vs. Miyu Yamashita on what is shaping up to be one of the most-stacked cards of WrestleMania week!
