It’s tournament season right now, with the NJPW G1 Climax having officially wrapped up this weekend, and Stardom’s 5Star Grand Prix in full swing. With Marigold having announced their own tournament – the Dream Star Grand Prix – to run from the end of August alongside a list of 12 out 16 total competitors (Chika Goto, Kizuna Tanaka and Victoria Yuzuki all winning later qualifying matches to join the final field), fans waited with baited breath for the block breakdowns and who would be facing who.
At Giulia’s Last Match Arrivederci show from Korakuen Hall on 19th August, Marigold announced the two blocks as well as confirming officially that the final entrant would NORI of LLPW-X.

Split into two eight-person blocks called the ‘Star League’ and ‘Dream League’, the now complete field of 16 competitors have been split as follows;

There are plenty of matches to look forward to here, with Utami vs. MIRAI, Sareee vs. Nanae, the Marigold World Champion vs. The Marigold United National Champion and the tWin toWers colliding being particular highlights.
The 2024 Dream Star Grand Prix will run from August 31st with a double-shot in Osaka, until the finals on September 28th in Nagoya.
