Marigold have announced the full card for the third night of their Burning Desire 2025 tour emanating live from Shinjuku FACE, including Mayu Iwatani’s first defence of her Superfly Championship.
Having defeated protege Victoria Yuzuki at Shine Forever, Iwatani was confronted backstage by Darkness Revolution’s Misa Matsui who demanded a title match. This, which will be Matsui’s fourth attempt at the belt and the first singles encounter between her and Iwatani, has since been made official for the 5th June. Elsewhere, Victoria Yuzuki and Seri Yamaoka square off in singles action for the first time, while Utami teams with MIRAI and Rea Seto against the team of Mai Sakurai, Komomo Minami and Chanyota.
Unfortunately, Natsumi Showzuki and Nao Ishikawa remain absent from the cards through poor health.
The full card for Burning Spirit 2025 – Night 3 from Shinjuku FACE on 5th June is as follow;
- Marigold Superfly Championship Match: Mayu Iwatani (c) vs. Misa Matsui
- Seri Yamaoka vs. Victoria Yuzuki
- Utami Hayashishita, MIRAI & Rea Seto vs. Mai Sakurai, Komomo Minami & Chanyota
- Miku Aono, Chika Goto & Minami Yuki vs. Darkness Revolution (Nagisa Nozaki, CHIAKI & Megaton)
- Erina Yamanaka vs. Ryoko Sakimura
- Hummingbird & Nagisa Tachibana vs. Kizuna Tanaka & Kouki Amarei
