Marigold are currently embarking on their Spring Victory Series tour with their latest show in Shinjuku FACE on 11th March airing live on WRESTLEUNIVERSE.
On top of two stellar singles matches in Utami Hayashishita vs. Victoria Yuzuki and MIRAI vs. Mai Sakurai, it was the appearance of a Marvelous contingent – led by Takumi Iroha – that has led to a great deal of excitement.
Coming face-to-face with Nanae Takahashi, Iroha demanded a match with Marigold, which Takahashi agreed to. The two teams then had to be separated as the tensions boiled over and one of the Marvelous rookies made an attempt to confront Takahashi. The inter-promotional match has since been confirmed for the 30th March Korakuen Hall show.
This is not the first time that Rossy Ogawa has run an inter-promotional angle, with him booking something similar between Stardom and Sendai Girls in 2014 and 2015.
