Stardom’s Mei Seira is looking to add more singles gold to her High-Speed Championship after her failed attempt to capture the CMLL-Japan Women’s Championship from Lluvia in Korakuen Hall, and that quest leads her to ChocoPro!

Taking place on May 29th at ChocoPro #452, the company has announced that Mei Seira will be the next challenger for Mei Suruga’s Super Asia Championship inside Shinjuku FACE, at a show dedicated to Suruga’s seventh anniversary as a professional wrestler.

Seira and Suruga have a lot of history together – despite never having previously faced each other in singles action – and even teamed in an unsuccessful bid for the SEAdLINNNG Beyond The Sea Tag Team Championships back in 2019 against Hiroyo Matsumoto and Yoshiko. However, this will be the first time since 2023 that they have shared the ring, when Starlight Kid and Seira defeated AZM and Mei Suruga at All-Star Grand Queendom in a match that marked Seira’s return to wrestling following a hiatus.

Mei Suruga is the sixth Super Asia Champion and has held the belt, at the time of writing, for 260 days. Her match against Mei Seira will be her seventh defence of the belt.
