Marigold head into the second year of their existence on the back of a really strong Shine Forever PPV on May 24th that saw Nanae Takahashi retire from in-ring competition.

The Burning Desire tour has been announced to start in earnest on Friday May 30th in Kumamoto City, before moving on to Fukuoka on the 31st.

Two competitors that will not be a part of the start of the tour though are Natsumi Showzuki and Nao Ishikawa who, after great performances respectively in the Marigold vs. Marvelous inter-promotional 10-woman tag team action, have been removed from the dates to deal with lingering injuries. At the time of writing, no timetable for return has been announced.

Ishikawa also didn’t partake in the Hokkaido tour immediately preceding Shine Forever due to ‘poor health’.

We at The Marigold Standard wish Natsumi Showzuki and Nao Ishikawa all of the best and hope they return to in-ring action as soon as possible.
