During a typically eventful press conference that saw Marigold announce the full card for the upcoming Giulia Last Match: Arrivederci card, and a celebratory Giulia Gauntlet Match for the Shin-Kiba 1st RING show on August 25th, we were also given a glimpse of the company’s brand new signing.

17-year old Seri (pronounced Say-ree) Yamaoka, who is an accomplished amateur wrestler, joined Rossy Ogawa to announce that she will be making her debut at the company’s First Dream 2025 show on January 3rd in Ota-Ward City Gymnasium.

Currently at high school, Yamaoka is a decorated free-style wrestler already, placing second in the 54kg class at the 2021 National Junior High School Selection Championships and winning the high-school lightweight class at the 2022 All Japan Beach Wrestling Championships. With this wealth of experience at such a young age, standing at 162cm and weighing in at 54kg, it goes without saying that Seri Yamaoka is an exciting prospect in Marigold’s future!
