The newly-rechristened Pro Wrestling Evolution have announced their latest card – President Suwama’s New President Inauguration Commemoration Event – for January 29th in their first ever show at Shin-Kiba 1st RING.
As well as the debut of new rookie Chika and the appearance of notable Stardom alums in Kaori Yoneyama and Hiroyo Matsumoto the big draw, and indeed the main event, will be Chi Chi’s third defence of the Sendai Girls Junior Championship.
Immediately following her defeat of Aya Sakura at Stardom New Year Dream on January 3rd, Chi Chi was confronted by a new challenger in the form of God’s Eye’s Ranna Yagami.
Though the pair have only ever faced each other twice in singles action, both matches coming during last year’s Catch the Wave tournament, Chi Chi is yet to record a victory over the Beat Striker; Ranna winning one of their matches and the other going to a ten-minute time-limit draw.
