The first match has been confirmed for Stardom’s January 3rd show New Year Dream 2025 – due to take place in the Tokyo Garden Theater in Ariake.
Following HANAKO’s singles loss to Chihiro Hashimoto on Sendai Girls’ 30th November show in Osaka, Maika – who had been seconding her EXV teammate – entered the ring to lay down a challenge; Cup High Mate vs. Team 200kg (Chihiro Hashimoto & YUU). Hashimoto accepted the challenge, with the match being made official for Stardom’s first big show of 2025 – New Year Dream 2025 on January 3rd from the Tokyo Garden Theater in Ariake.

This challenge comes just two days after YUU took to her personal Instagram account to confirm that she would be taking a hiatus from pro-wrestling effective January 5th. It will be her first match back in Stardom for exactly a year, having last taken part in a Stardom match on 3rd January 2024 whilst teaming with Nanae Takahashi, Hazuki and Saki Kashima in Yokohama Budokan. For Hashimoto however, it marks her first Stardom match since March’s tag team classic, teaming with Sareee against the team of Natsupoi and Saori Anou.
Stardom’s New Year Dream 2025 will take place January 3rd 2025 with streaming details to be announced.
