H.A.T.E’s Thekla has been suspended following her attack during the 1st December show in Niigata.

Following a loss to Winggori in their final block match of the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League that saw Hanan and Saya Iida progress ahead of Thekla and Momo Watanabe, Thekla snapped and let loose a vicious assault on Hanan after the bell. The attack took place on the table directly in front of where President Taro Okada was sitting, and it had to be broken up by an army of wrestlers. However, that wasn’t before Thekla had flattened both Saya Iida and a member of Stardom’s ringside crew with forearms, and grabbed Okada by the throat.

On the morning of the 2nd December, Stardom announced that Thekla would be suspended for three weeks without pay (around $2000) until the 22nd December show in Hachioji following the ‘intentional assault’ of a ‘staffer’. The company also updated us on that staffer, explaining that he had been discharged from hospital with a diagnosis of bruising, and that he would be missing from action for around a month.

Consequently, Thekla will now miss the finals and semi-finals of the 2024 Goddesses of Stardom Tag League, the latter of which will take place as a half-price PPV on the 8th December from Act City Hamamatsu.
