What do I Need to Know?

  • 24th World of Stardom Champion Saya Kamitani has been champion for 119 days – in her first reign. This will be the second title defence of her reign.
  • This will be the eleventh singles match between Tam Nakano and Saya Kamitani, with Saya winning the last five in a row – discounting their 5Star Grand Prix match in 2023 which ended in a referee stoppage after Saya legitimately broke her wrist.
  • The current singles record between the pair stands at 7-4 in Kamitani’s favour, including the last three title matches.
  • Their last singles match saw Stardom’s first-ever ‘loser leaves Stardom match‘, with Kamitani coming out on top. However, rather than enforce this, Kamitani upped the stakes and instead said that their rematch at Yokohama Arena would be a career vs. career match – another first in Stardom’s history. Tam doubled down on this in the press conference by confirming that the Yokohama match would be the last match for whoever loses; no retirement road or second chances.
  • 24th Wonder of Stardom Champion Starlight Kid has been champion for 119 days – in her first reign. This will be the third title defence of her reign.
  • This will be the twelfth singles match between Starlight Kid and AZM – including the time limit draw during the UJPW show in Sapporo last year – with Starlight Kid failing to defeat AZM in the last seven attempts; AZM winning four of them and 3 going to draws.
  • The current overall singles record between the pair is 4-4-4
  • This will also mark AZM’s first ever challenge for the Wonder of Stardom Championship
  • 3rd IWGP Women’s Champion Mayu Iwatani has been champion for 735 days – in her first reign. This will be the tenth title defence of her reign.
  • Mayu Iwatani has held the IWGP Women’s Championship for over two years, with her 735-day reign with the belt being the longest reign with a Stardom-recognised championship in the company’s history.
  • This will be Syuri’s second chance at the IWGP Women’s Championship, and her second against Mayu during this reign having lost on the 4th January 2024 at Ittenyon Stardom Gate in Tokyo Dome City Hall.
  • The current singles record between Mayu and Syuri is 2-2 with Iwatani winning the aforementioned previous match in Tokyo Dome City Hall.
  • 35th Goddesses of Stardom Champions Winggori (Saya Iida (1) & Hanan (1)) have been champions for 119 days – in their first reign. This will be the second title defence of their reign.
  • 12th Future of Stardom Champion Hina has been champion for 62 days – in her first reign. This will be the second title defence of her reign.
  • Hina and Ranna Yagami are currently a part of the same faction – God’s Eye – and have only faced each other in singles action once prior. This was a time-limit draw in the Yokohama Budokan as a part of the pre-show for Flashing Champions 2024.
  • This will be the second time Ranna Yagami has challenged for the Future of Stardom Championship, having been unsuccessful against Hina’s sister Rina in Sapporo in July of 2024.
  • 18th Sendai Girls World Champion Champion Chihiro Hashimoto has been champion for 39 days – in her sixth reign. This will be the first title defence of her reign.
  • Chihiro Hashimoto and Maika have never met in singles action before, though the heat between the two has been building since January 3rd at New Year Dream when Team 200kg defeated Cup High Mate. Since then, Maika and Chihiro Hashimoto have been baiting each other until Maika finally challenged Hashimoto for the championship on 3rd April.
  • The feud was further escalated at the press conference when Maika scathingly pointed out that the room they were in was bigger than any Chihiro has ever worked, before they brawled into the crowd and Maika Bodyslammed her.
  • This will be the first time that Mei Seira and Suzu Suzuki will have met each other since the latter attacked the former and left NEO-GENESIS in Korakuen Hall on April 2nd.
  • This will be the first ever singles meeting between the two women.
  • The 6-woman tag team match between the Cosmic Angels team and Sendai Girls team will mark Meiko Satomura’s final Stardom appearance before her own retirement on April 29th.
  • The match will also mark the first interaction between Saori Anou and Mika Iwata since their singles match at Dream Queendom 2024 on December 29th, and the culmination of their almost 12-month feud over both the Wonder of Stardom Championship and the Sendai Girls World Championship.
  • The show will also mark the first appearance for YUNA on a main card for Stardom, after she appeared once before at New Blood 16 in October 2024.
  • Rina spoke at the press conference about her annoyance that people were insistent on talking about the past and how good wrestling was in the past and wondered why people weren’t talking more about the wrestling of now. She promised to put on a performance that would make sure people would forget the ‘golden-age’ of joshi from the 80s and 90s.
  • Yumiko Hotta will make her Stardom debut on this show, with her only previous experience with the company being back in October 2011 when Team Stardom defeated Team Reina in the first round of Sendai Girls’ Dantai Taikou Flash Tournament.
  • Hotta is a decorated wrestler who has held titles in AJW, where she also won the Japan Grand Prix and the Tag League The Best 3 times, as well as as in Reina, JWP and Diana. She is also a legitimate mixed martial artist, who has a record of 5-5, with her last match being a TKO loss to Gaby Garcia in 2016 for Rizin.
  • No names have been confirmed for the Stardom Rumble at the time of writing, though Natsuko Tora, Ruaka, Momo Watanabe, Konami, Miyu Amasaki, Sayaka Kurura, Lady C, Tomoka Inaba, Thekla, Momo Kohgo and HANAKO are amongst the names without a match on this show. The winner of the rumble will receive a title shot at any title sanctioned by Stardom.
  • Kiyoka Kotatsu has confirmed that she will be taking part in the All-Star Grand Queendom Rumble, which will be her first Stardom match since Path of Thunder 2025 on 24th February.
  • This will be the second time Stardom have run the Yokohama Arena, with the All-Star Grand Queendom 2023 show being the first. That show saw Stardom announce a house of 5,564 – the record sole-promoted attendance in their 14 year history. President Taro Okada has been very vocal about wanting to break the 10,000 people barrier, and believes that this show could be the one to do just that.

How do I Watch the Show?

The show will air as a PPV complete with English commentary provided by Walker Stewart. The PPV link for international buys has not been released at the time of writing, so keep an eye on Stardom’s social media channels.
